A week ago my Master student Marius Nilsen and I arrived at the IMR research station at Austevoll to start the experiments for his thesis on mackerel predation on early life stages of mackerel. We were lucky that somebody else's experiments on mackerel just finished and we were able to use the remaining mackerel. There were at least 400 fish left in the net pen and they sure are a sight of beauty.
